VIBASS9 is the ninth edition of the Summer School on Bayesian Statistics to be held from July 6th to 9th July 2026 in València (Spain).

The XV SEPEX & II Joint SEPEX-BAPS meeting 2026 will bring together members from the Spanish Society for Experimental Psychology (SEPEX) and the Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences (BAPS). The meeting will take place in Valencia, on September 9-11^th, 2026, with pre-meeting workshops on September 8^th. It is hosted by the Reading Research Unit (ERI Lectura) from the University of Valencia.

By merging the tradition and interests of SEPEX and BAPS, the Joint meeting will focus on all areas of psychological research, with a particular emphasis on experimental psychology. The meeting will proudly feature the following keynotes: Kate Nation (University of Oxford), Akira Miyake (University of Colorado Boulder) and Agnes Moors (KU Leuven), as well as those from the SEPEX Emerging Researcher Award and Pio Tudela lecture (to be announced).

CCS, impulsando la transferencia de conocimiento
Valencia, 27-29 de noviembre de 2025

La ciudad de València acogerá los días 27, 28 y 29 de noviembre de 2025 una nueva edición de las Jornadas de la Conferencia de Consejos Sociales de las Universidades Españolas, un foro anual de diálogo, reflexión y colaboración entre la universidad, la empresa y la sociedad.

Bajo el lema “CCS, impulsando la transferencia de conocimiento”, el encuentro centrará su atención en el papel estratégico de los Consejos Sociales como puente entre el ámbito académico y el tejido productivo para fomentar una universidad más abierta, emprendedora y comprometida con el impacto social.

Las jornadas se inaugurarán el 27 de noviembre en el histórico edificio de La Nau y continuarán en la sede de la Fundación ADEIT de la Universitat de València, ambos enclaves situados en el corazón de la ciudad. Estos espacios serán el escenario de un completo programa que combinará conferencias, debates y presentación de casos de éxito.

A lo largo de las sesiones se abordarán distintos modelos de transferencia de conocimiento y emprendimiento, analizando buenas prácticas de universidades españolas y la experiencia de spin-offs que han surgido desde el entorno universitario.

El encuentro ofrecerá también espacios de trabajo específicos para secretarios y presidentes de los Consejos Sociales, y contará con la participación de destacados expertos de los ámbitos académico, investigador y empresarial, como Francisco Pérez (IVIE), José Rosell (S2 Grupo), Damià Tormo (Columbus Venture Partners), Gonzalo Abellán (Matteco) y Marisa Domingo-Calap (Evolving Therapeutics) entre otros.

Además, el programa incluirá actividades culturales y visitas a lugares emblemáticos de València, como el Museo de la Seda o la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, que permitirán descubrir el patrimonio, la historia y la vitalidad de la ciudad.

TeVPA 2025 is an international conference focused on the field of Particle Astrophysics, covering exciting and timely topics such as cosmic ray physics, gamma-ray astronomy, neutrino astronomy, cosmology, direct and indirect 

searches for dark matter, gravitational waves, and connections to particle physics. Both plenary and parallel sessions will be devoted to explore the current status and the future perspectives of these topics in Valencia in late 2025.

The meeting will take place at the ADEIT, the University-Enterprise Foundation of the University of Valencia and Bancaja Foundation an emblematic building of the city of Valencia.

Fibrosis - the excessive growth of fibrous tissue due to chronic inflammation and altered tissue remodelling and repair processes - is a complex condition that affects millions worldwide, and the need for effective treatments and reliable diagnostic tools has never been more urgent. As it can affect various organs, fibrosis is a key component of numerous prevalent pathologies, including cystic fibrosis, Crohn’s Disease and Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.

Despite the huge advances made by research in recent years, the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of fibrosis are still unclear and can differ in each of the affected organs. Importantly, there are few effective therapeutic options, and only for some organs, such as the lung and kidney, with no anti-fibrotic pharmacological treatments currently available for the intestine or liver.

The International Workshop on Liver and Gut Fibrosis is an initiative to bring together basic scientists and clinical experts working in the field to foster collaboration and advance our understanding of this condition. The workshop focuses on the molecular mechanisms involved in the different types of fibrosis, particularly on those that are common to different organs. In this way, we set out to explore avenues that might lead to an improvement of current therapeutic approaches and the identification of new pharmacological targets that could relieve the burden of fibrosis for millions of patients.

Following on from the first and second editions of this biannual workshop held in Valencia, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, the 3rd edition will be a unique opportunity to engage with experts who are at the forefront of research to develop innovative anti-fibrotic therapies and identify new diagnostic tools that will bring significant transformations to patient care. We invite those of you with an interest in fibrosis to join us at Fundación Adeit on 16-17 October 2025 to continue exploring this increasingly relevant topic.

Welcome to the website of the 33rd IEEE International Requirements Engineering 2025 conference. The IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference is the premier requirements engineering conference, where researchers, practitioners, students and educators meet, present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and issues in the field of requirements engineering.

The 33rd edition of RE (RE’25) will be hosted in Valencia, Spain, from September 1-5, 2025.

The EARIE Annual Conference provides a yearly platform for academics and practitioners to present and discuss the latest research in Industrial Economics. The conference attracts more than 400 participants each year from Europe and other parts of the world. Organizers Emma Torro Pastor James Beacham

The 13th edition of the Beam Telescopes and Test Beams Workshop will be held in Valencia, Spain.

This workshop will cover a wide range of topics related to test beams for detector studies in tracking detectors, calorimetry and beyond. It aims at bringing together both experts and newcomers from various fields. There will be a combination of presentations by experienced users, results from recent test beam studies and tutorials to teach the software required to analyze the results.

We are very much looking forward to an interesting workshop!
